Gary Kirby

Director of Gymnastics at Sports Basics

Gary comes with a wealth of experience in gymnastics, spanning over 40 years at National and International level, as both a Coach and an Official. As an International Performance Coach, Category 1 Judge with the Federation of International Gymnastics, and as recipient of the National Award for services to Coach Education by British Gymnastics, there are few coaches with greater experience in their sport.

Ian MacLeod

Development Manager at Eagles Community Foundation and GB Basketball Assistant Coach

Ian is Assistant Coach for the Great Britain team (2024) and the former Head Coach for Newcastle Eagles Basketball team. He is also the Development Manager at the Eagles Community Foundation, an award winning foundation that delivers club development alongside its junior basketball clubs, operating across the North East of England, and its elite performance level academy in Newcastle.

Jamie Kingstone

Director of Hockey at JK Hockey

Jamie has been involved in hockey from school level, as the Director of Hockey at Framlingham College, to international standard, as the England U21s assistant coach and England Hockey Scout. He now leads a coaching team of ex-international and Olympic hockey players at his own hockey club, JK Hockey.

Martin Brockman

Director of Performance Pathways

Martin Brockman is Director of Brockman Athletics, providing teacher training and track and field teaching resources for schools around the world. Representing Great Britain in the decathlon for almost a decade, Martin achieved a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Dehli, 2010. On retiring from his international career, he moved to the world-leading Aspire Academy in Qatar as the Head of Athlete Development where he designed and implemented the academy athletics program from talent identification through to international athletics.

Richie Williams

Director of Rugby at Cambridge Rugby Club

Richie is currently the Director of Rugby at Cambridge Rugby Club, having spent 5 years as the Head Coach of England U20s rugby team. Beginning his career in education as a PE teacher, he went on to become the Director of Rugby at Oxford Brookes University and the Head Coach of the England University 7’s.

Berenice Hunt

Director of Dance at Just Dance Fit.

Trained at the Royal Academy of Dance and, with 20 years of experience working with dancers at all levels, Berenice’s career highlights include Teaching at Alexandra Palace and performing at the famous Sadlers Wells Theatre.
