Lesson Overview

While only one player will be defending against the ball carrier, other defenders should stop offensive players from receiving passes close to the basket. In this lesson, students will explore the difference between ‘on-ball’ and ‘help’ defence, as well as learning to ‘deny’ an offensive player from receiving the ball.
