Developing Decision-Makers

In this episode we speak with the founder of The Coaching Lab, Jack Rolfe.

Jack was an emerging elite Hockey player who transitioned into coaching where he developed his Match Play Cards that are now being used by schools and academies all over the world.

Now based in Perth, Australia, Jack travels the world to work with teachers and coaches to develop a games-based approach to their practice in order to develop the wider skills of sport such as decision-making, teamwork, and communication.

Throughout the podcast, we discussed how we might adapt the traditional approach to teaching sports to support players to be better decision-makers on the field as well as how we might empower them to take control of their own learning.
