Lesson Overview

Lifted balls in field hockey refer to when a player intentionally raises the ball off the ground using their stick to dribble past a defender. Students will learn to defend against lifted balls and to stop attackers from dribbling into the D to create scoring chances.

Director of Hockey at JK Hockey

Jamie has been involved in hockey from school level, as the Director of Hockey at Framlingham College, to international standard, as the England U21s assistant coach and England Hockey Scout. He now leads a coaching team of ex-international and Olympic hockey players at his own hockey club, JK Hockey.
