In this podcast, we speak with Paul Quinn.

Paul is the co-founder and director of Beyond the Physical who seek to use physical education to transform young people's lives.

Paul qualified as a PE teacher at Leeds Becket University, teaching for 12 years before following his passion for football to become a youth head coach at one of the countries leading football clubs, Sheffield United.

Having gained a broad range of experiences across school and academy physical education, Paul has used this knowledge to shape the ethos of Beyond the Physical and deliver a leading education program across schools, colleges and universities in the UK and around the world.

Throughout this podcast, we discuss the move, solve, connect model which guides their lesson plans, and we discuss the role of physical education and what we think might be the future of PE.

Director of Performance Pathways

Martin Brockman is Director of Brockman Athletics, providing teacher training and track and field teaching resources for schools around the world. Representing Great Britain in the decathlon for almost a decade, Martin achieved a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Dehli, 2010. On retiring from his international career, he moved to the world-leading Aspire Academy in Qatar as the Head of Athlete Development where he designed and implemented the academy athletics program from talent identification through to international athletics.
