Lesson Overview

A successful attack forces the defense to spread out, creating gaps and openings for the attacking team to exploit and allowing players to advance the ball and create scoring opportunities. In this lesson, students will develop their acceleration and deceleration skills in order to avoid contact and find space to attack.

Director of Rugby at Cambridge Rugby Club

Richie is currently the Director of Rugby at Cambridge Rugby Club, having spent 5 years as the Head Coach of England U20s rugby team. Beginning his career in education as a PE teacher, he went on to become the Director of Rugby at Oxford Brookes University and the Head Coach of the England University 7’s.
